Karen Bright is a Managing Partner in Bright and Associates. She has extensive experience working as a Careers Consultant for the past 10 years with both students and adults. Prior to working in the careers field, she worked in the banking and finance sector for 15 years. She is the co-author of two highly acclaimed career development books, Getting a Brilliant job: The Student’s Guide and Land that Job in Australia: The Skilled Migrant’s Guide and is a member of the Career Development Association of Australia. Karen manages that Vocational Testing Program in schools and deals with over 800 students and their parents each year advising students on possible career pathways, subject selection and post school study options.

Jim Bright is the managing partner of Bright and Associates. He has an international reputation as a career development professional based on his award winning innovative career development research, best-selling career development books and his entertaining and informative speaking and training.

Jim has over 20 years of experience in psychology and career development. He has a BA(Hons) and a PhD in Psychology. He has published over 300 books, chapters journal and newspaper articles, tests and reports. He is a fellow of both the Australian Psychological Society and the Career Development Association of Australia and is a past national chairperson of the College of Organisational Psychologists. He holds Australia's first specifically-named Professorial appointment in career development at ACU.
